Kingsville is a small place in Prince Edward County, Virginia, United States. It's called an unincorporated community, which means it's not an official town or city with its own local government. Kingsville is located where two roads meet: VA 133 and US 15.

Kingsville's Past: A Look at History
Kingsville has a rich history, especially from the time of the American Revolution.
Early Days: King's Tavern
Even before the American Revolution began, Kingsville was known for a place called "King's Tavern." Taverns were like inns or hotels in those days. They offered food, drinks, and a place to stay for travelers.
Revolutionary War Events
During the American Revolution, Kingsville saw some important events:
- In 1781, a British cavalry leader named Banastre Tarleton camped in Kingsville. Cavalry are soldiers who fight on horseback.
- In the same year, many sick and wounded French soldiers were brought to Kingsville. They had been fighting near Yorktown. Sadly, seventy of these brave soldiers are buried in Kingsville.
Colonial Church History
Kingsville is also home to a historic colonial church. A "colonial church" means it was built during the time when America was still a group of colonies under British rule. A minister named Archibald McRoberts served at this church long ago.
