Kirchbach is a small market town in Austria. It is located in the Hermagor district within the state of Carinthia. The town's name in Slovenian is Cirkno.
Geography of Kirchbach
Kirchbach is found in a beautiful valley called the upper Gailtal valley. This valley is surrounded by two mountain ranges. To the north, you'll find the Gailtal Alps. To the south are the Carnic Alps, which also form the border with Italy. The town sits at an elevation of about 640 meters (2,100 feet) above sea level.
