Christopher William Young (born in 1994) is a British actor. He started his acting journey in theatre. He even received a nomination for an Ian Charleson Award for his stage work.
On television, Kit Young is well-known for playing Jesper Fahey. This character is from the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone, which aired from 2021 to 2023. Kit Young was born in Oxford, England. His father is Scottish, and his mother is Ugandan. He grew up in a town called Abingdon-on-Thames.
He attended Abingdon School from 2008 to 2013. While there, he was part of the Abingdon Film Unit. He also played the main character in his school's 2012 play, Candide.
Young was also a member of the National Youth Theatre. He had some smaller roles early on. These included a part in the TV film Walter's War. He also acted in plays like Cinderella and Dick Whittington at the Oxford Playhouse. Later, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). He earned a degree in Acting in 2017.
