The Kiwetinok River is a short but important river in British Columbia, Canada. It flows through the beautiful Rocky Mountains. This river is the biggest stream that feeds into the Amiskwi River, making it a key part of the local water system.

Where the Kiwetinok River Flows

The Kiwetinok River starts in a place called Kiwetinok Pass. This pass is a low area between mountains. It is important to know that the river does not start in Kiwetinok Lake. That lake is actually the source of a different river, the Little Yoho River.

The River's Journey

The Kiwetinok River begins at the west end of Kiwetinok Pass. It then flows south for about 9.8 kilometers (or 6.1 miles). This journey takes it through the stunning landscapes of British Columbia. Along its path, the Kiwetinok River does not have any other large streams joining it. It flows directly until it meets the Amiskwi River.
