Koldok is a small place in Barnes County, North Dakota, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes or buildings that isn't officially a town or city with its own local government.
The name Koldok comes from "Coal-dock." This is because there was a big place to store coal nearby. Before it was called Koldok, the community was named Brackett. However, they had to change the name because it sounded too much like another place called Brocket.
