Kolsass is a small town, also known as a municipality, in the country of Austria. It is located in the state of Tyrol, which is famous for its mountains. Kolsass is about 17 kilometers (about 10 miles) east of a larger city called Innsbruck. It is part of the Innsbruck-Land area.
History of Kolsass
The name "Kolsass" has been around for a very long time! The town was first mentioned in old records way back in the year 1050. Back then, it was written as "Quolesazz" or "Cholsasz". This shows that people have lived in this beautiful area for nearly a thousand years.
