Playing Career
Koray Avcı started his football journey in the youth team of Kocaelispor. He then moved to Çaykur Rizespor, where he played for five years.
Big Club Moves
In early 2005, Koray Avcı joined Beşiktaş. This move happened thanks to manager Rıza Çalımbay. He played for Beşiktaş for two years.
Later, he transferred to Manisaspor. This was part of a deal that brought another player, Filip Hološko, to Beşiktaş. However, his time at Manisaspor was short.
In July 2008, he moved to Gençlerbirliği. About a year later, in August 2009, he joined Kasımpaşa S.K.. He also returned to Çaykur Rizespor later in his career and played for Şanlıurfaspor.
