What Does the Unification Flag Look Like?
The flag has a simple design. Its background is white. In the middle, there is a blue shape of the Korean Peninsula. This shape includes Jeju Island to the southwest. It also includes Ulleungdo and the Liancourt Rocks to the east. These islands were added to the flag's design in 2003.
However, during the 2018 Winter Olympics, the flag used did not show Ulleungdo or the Liancourt Rocks.
