Kota Mizunuma (水沼 宏太, Mizunuma Kōta, born 22 February 1990) is a Japanese association football player. He currently plays as a winger for Newcastle Jets and the Japan national team. His father, Takashi Mizunuma, was also a professional footballer.

Early Life and Youth Career
Kota Mizunuma was born on February 22, 1990, in Yokohama, Japan. He started playing football at a young age. From 1997 to 2001, he played for Azamino FC. He then joined the youth team of Yokohama F. Marinos in 2002, where he played until 2007.
Club Football Journey
Kota Mizunuma has played for several clubs throughout his career. He started his professional journey with Yokohama F. Marinos.
Starting with Yokohama F. Marinos
Mizunuma joined the senior team of Yokohama F. Marinos in 2008. He played for them until 2012. During this time, he also went on loan to other teams to gain more experience.
Loan Spells and New Teams
- In 2010, he was loaned to Tochigi SC in the J.League Division 2. He played 50 games and scored 7 goals for them over two seasons.
- In 2012, he moved on loan to Sagan Tosu, a team in J.League Division 1. He played 33 games and scored 5 goals.
- He then joined Sagan Tosu permanently from 2013 to 2015. He was a key player, appearing in 91 matches and scoring 15 goals.
Moving to FC Tokyo and Cerezo Osaka
In 2016, Mizunuma joined FC Tokyo. He played 17 games and scored 1 goal. He also played for FC Tokyo U-23 on loan, scoring 3 goals in 9 games. Return to Yokohama F. Marinos
