Kristina Arnaudova (Macedonian: Кристина Арнаудова; born in 1979) is a pop singer from North Macedonia. She is famous for her music and for her work helping children.

Kristina is the founder and president of Project Happiness. This is the largest organization in North Macedonia that helps children who come from families with financial struggles.

Early Life and Musical Beginnings

Kristina was born on September 21, 1979, in the town of Negotino. Even as a little girl, she loved music more than anything. She spent her days singing and dreaming of becoming a professional singer.

Her family inspired her in many ways. Her grandmother taught her French, and her grandfather taught her to love reading books. Her mother, Mary, raised her alone and taught her important values like honesty and love. Kristina's uncle was a drummer, and hearing his band practice at home sparked her love for music.

At just four years old, she sang in front of an audience for the first time at her kindergarten. As she grew up, she also discovered she had a talent for writing songs.

Starting Her Career

When Kristina was 16, she entered a music festival called "Teen Fest" and won first place. This was the start of her journey in music. She formed a band and started performing locally, playing the pop-rock music she is known for today.

In 1997, she joined a rock band called "Saga." A year later, she became a member of another group, "Big Bang," and recorded several popular songs with them. During this time, she moved to the city of Skopje to study at a university and has lived there ever since.

Solo Music Career

In 2000, Kristina started her solo career with the song "Sun" (Sonce). This marked a new chapter for her as an independent artist.

The "Trains" Album

In 2003, Kristina released her first album, called "Trains" (Vozovi). The album was a huge success. It had 14 songs, and eight of them became number-one hits in North Macedonia. Some of the most popular songs were "Dust" (Prashina), "You know who he is" (Znaesh koj e toj), and the title track "Trains" (Vozovi).

The album won the "Best Album of 2003" award and is considered very important for pop-rock music in her country.

The "2007" Album

In 2008, she released her second album, titled "2007." She produced this album herself. It featured hit songs like "I have no heart for another" (Nemam srce za drug) and "First and last" (Prv I posleden).

One song, "Don’t leave me" (Ne me ostavaj), became famous outside of North Macedonia. It was number one on the MTV music channel's Balkan chart for seven weeks.

Later Music

After taking a break to focus on her family, Kristina returned to music. In 2013, she released the song "Take me" (Zemi me), which she wrote herself. It became one of her most loved songs and won an award for best pop-rock hit in 2014.

She also released an album with the same name, "Zemi me," in 2014. The songs from this album were very popular on the radio.

Helping Children with Project Happiness

In 2015, Kristina decided to follow another dream: helping children in need. She started an organization called "Project Happiness" to support children living in poverty.

Today, Project Happiness is her main focus. She writes projects, finds funding, and is personally involved in helping families. The organization runs a free music and arts school and a drama studio for children in Skopje.

Kristina believes that all children deserve an equal chance to be happy and educated. She says that helping children is her life's mission.

Personal Life

In 2006, Kristina married Aleksandar Petrovski, a handball player. They have two sons, Maxim (born in 2010) and Mateo (born in 2016).

Kristina has always said that her family and her charity work are her biggest priorities, even more than her music career.
