Kronach is a town in Germany. It is located in the northern part of Upper Franconia, which is a region in the state of Bavaria. About 18,000 people live in Kronach. The town is found in the Frankenwald (Franconian Forest) area, not far from the city of Coburg. The current mayor of Kronach is Wolfgang Beiergrößlein.
