Kulla Chapel, known as Kulla kapell in Swedish, is a special church building called a chapel. It is located in Eksjö Municipality in Sweden. You can find it along country road 28, which runs between the towns of Eksjö and Nässjö.
This chapel belongs to the Höreda Parish within the Church of Sweden. It first opened its doors to the public in 1927.
A Fire and a New Beginning
Sadly, Kulla Chapel was badly damaged in a fire on May 27, 2000. The fire destroyed much of the building. However, the community worked hard to rebuild it. The chapel was successfully rebuilt and reopened on May 13, 2001. This shows how important the chapel is to the people in the area.
