Kung Fu was a popular American television show from the 1970s. It was created by Ed Spielman. The main character, Kwai Chang Caine, was played by David Carradine. The show was even nominated for two Golden Globe awards!
What is Kung Fu About?
The show Kung Fu tells the story of Kwai Chang Caine. He is a Shaolin monk who travels through the American Old West. Caine doesn't use weapons. Instead, he uses his amazing martial arts skills. He also uses his inner strength and wise philosophy.
Caine is looking for his half-brother, Danny Caine. He wants to start a new family. He had to leave China because the authorities were looking for him. A total of 63 episodes were made. This includes a special 90-minute pilot episode. The show ran from 1972 to 1975.
