Oyekunle Opeyemi Oluwaremi, who is known by his professional name Kunle Remi, is a famous Nigerian actor, producer, and model. He is best known for his roles in the movies Falling and Aníkúlápó. He also appeared in the TV series Tinsel.

In 2010, he became famous after winning the 7th season of the reality show Gulder Ultimate Search. While he was a student at the New York Film Academy, he also hosted an internet TV show called Celebville 360. He even hosted a nomination event for the Academy Awards in Beverly Hills. His first movie role was in Heavy Beauty in 2012.

Early Life and Schooling

Kunle Remi was born on October 18 in Gboko, a town in Benue State, Nigeria. When he was a child, his family moved to the city of Ibadan. As a teenager, he found that he loved acting and even became a drama teacher for other young people.

He first went to the University of Ibadan where he studied Fisheries and Wildlife Management. Later, he studied Tourism and Hospitality Management at Sheffield University. After finishing his degrees, he moved to New York City to study acting and filmmaking at the New York Film Academy, graduating in 2014.

Acting Career

Remi's career took off after he won Gulder Ultimate Search in 2010. He started acting professionally the next year. His first big movie was Falling, where he played a man who falls into a coma after an accident. This was a major role for him and helped him become more well-known.

Growing as an Actor

In 2016, Remi starred in a popular Nigerian TV show called Tinsel, which is one of the longest-running shows in Africa. He played the character Zane.

The next year, he acted in the movie Sobi's Mystic. In this romantic story, his character, Sobi, has to change his ways when he meets a woman who is not interested in him at first. He also appeared in the film Alter Ego, where he acted alongside the famous actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde.

In 2018, he starred in The Eve, a romantic comedy about a man who has second thoughts just before his wedding. The movie was praised for its beautiful look and fun story. It was later added to Netflix.

In 2019, Remi had a leading role in the movie Gold Statue. The film is about two friends, played by Remi and Gabriel Afolayan, who go on an adventure to find a hidden treasure. The movie was a big success and won several awards.
