Kwaku Boateng (born June 30, 1974) is a Canadian high jumper. He is famous for his amazing jumps in athletics. Kwaku's personal best jump was 2.34 meters. He achieved this great height in July 2000.
Kwaku started his career representing Ghana from 1993 to 1996. After that, he began competing for Canada in January 1997. His hometown is Montreal, Quebec. Kwaku is also the father of another Canadian high jumper, Tristan Boateng.

Early Jumps for Ghana
Kwaku first competed for Ghana. In 1994, he took part in the Commonwealth Games. This event was held in Victoria, Canada. He jumped 2.05 meters there.

From 1997, Kwaku proudly represented Canada. He quickly started winning medals.
Gold at the Pan American Games
In 1999, Kwaku won a gold medal. This was at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada. He jumped 2.25 meters to win first place. This was a huge achievement for him.
Competing at the World Championships
Kwaku also competed in the World Championships. In 1999, he finished 6th in Seville, Spain. He jumped 2.29 meters at that event. He also competed in the World Indoor Championships in 1997 and 2001.
Olympic Games Experience
In 2000, Kwaku Boateng went to the Olympic Games. The games were held in Sydney, Australia. He reached the final and finished 12th. He jumped 2.25 meters at the Olympics.
Silver Medals and More Achievements
Kwaku won several silver medals too. In 2001, he earned a silver medal at the Jeux de la Francophonie. This competition was in Ottawa, Canada. He jumped 2.31 meters there.
He also won a silver medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. This event took place in Manchester, United Kingdom. He jumped 2.25 meters. Later, in 2005, he won another silver medal. This was at the Jeux de la Francophonie in Niamey, Niger. He jumped 2.20 meters.
