College Tennis Career
Kyle made history at Louisiana State University. She was the first Black tennis player to compete for LSU in the SEC. The SEC is a big college sports conference. She finished her college tennis career at Pepperdine University in 1982.
Professional Tennis Highlights
In 1983, Kyle won her biggest professional title. She teamed up with Lori McNeil in the Bakersfield Open. This was a major event on the WTA Tour.
Kyle also played in the main doubles events at Grand Slam tournaments. These include the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open.
Sometimes, people mistakenly call her Kylie. Her correct name is Kyle.
