Kyle Sandilands (born 10 June 1971) is a well-known Australian radio and television host. He is famous for co-hosting The Kyle and Jackie O Show with Jackie O on Sydney's radio station KIIS 106.5. This show is very popular in Australia.

Radio Career
Kyle Sandilands started his radio journey in 1992 when he was 21 years old. His first job was driving a promotional car for a radio station in Townsville. He quickly showed he was willing to work hard to get ahead. He worked in different cities like Cairns and Darwin.
He later joined a station in Brisbane. In 1999, he moved to Sydney and started hosting the Hot30 Countdown on 2Day FM. He credits his success to being told to "do whatever you want, just win."
Kyle and Jackie O have won several awards for being the "Best On-Air Team." They received this award at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2015.
In 2009, The Kyle and Jackie O Show was temporarily stopped because of some comments Kyle made on air. He returned to his show later that year. In November 2023, Kyle and Jackie O signed a huge 10-year deal. This deal allows them to broadcast their show from anywhere in the world. Their show also started being heard in Melbourne.

Australian Idol
In 2005, Kyle became a judge on Network Ten's singing competition, Australian Idol. He was known for his direct comments to contestants. In August 2009, he was dropped from the show. This happened because his radio show's content was seen as not fitting with Idol's family-friendly image.
In September 2022, it was announced that Kyle would return as a judge for the new season of Australian Idol in 2023. He was the only judge from the original show to return. He judged alongside famous singers like Harry Connick Jr., Meghan Trainor, and Amy Shark. The show was picked up for another season in January 2024. Kyle returned as a judge with Amy Shark and original Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines.
Big Brother
In 2002, Kyle competed in Celebrity Big Brother in Australia. He finished in third place.
In 2007, Kyle appeared on Big Brother to help boost its ratings. He tried to host his radio show from inside the house. However, he left early after a disagreement with Big Brother. In 2008, Kyle and Jackie O became the hosts of Big Brother. The ratings for that season were low, and the show did not continue after that year.
Australia's Got Talent
In January 2010, Kyle Sandilands became a new judge on the fourth season of Australia's Got Talent. He joined Brian McFadden on the judging panel. Trial by Kyle

Personal Life
Kyle Sandilands has spoken about his difficult childhood. When he was 10, his parents divorced, which was very hard for him. At 15, his mother and stepfather asked him to leave their home. He never went back. At 17, he moved to Townsville to live with his aunt. His aunt shared that he was very sad about his parents' divorce. She said he used to sit outside his father's house at night.
On 26 September 2008, Kyle married pop singer Tamara Jaber. They lived in Sydney. However, they announced their split on 12 July 2010.
In February 2022, Kyle and his partner Tegan Kynaston announced they were expecting a baby. They had a special gender reveal party on Sydney Harbour. Kyle also announced that his radio co-host, Jackie O, would be their son's godmother. On 11 August 2022, Kyle Sandilands became a father for the first time when his fiancée Tegan gave birth to their son, Otto.
Kyle married Tegan Kynaston in April 2023 in Sydney. Important political figures, including the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the New South Wales Premier Chris Minns, attended the wedding.
In February 2025, Kyle Sandilands shared on his radio show that he had a brain aneurysm. He mentioned that he would need surgery for it.
