L'Entregu is a lively town located in San Martín del Rey Aurelio, a municipality in Asturias, a beautiful region in northern Spain. Its name, L'Entregu, means "the Hand-over." In 2007, L'Entregu joined with two nearby towns, Sotrondio and Blimea. Together, they formed a larger population center within the San Martín del Rey Aurelio municipality. A year later, in 2008, the town's official name became bilingual, meaning it can be called both L'Entregu and El Entrego. In 2009, about 7,346 people lived in L'Entregu itself. If you include the wider area of the parish of Linares, the population was around 9,177.
