Chastity Darnestine Daniels (born March 21, 1978), known as La Chat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. She is well-known for her work with the Hypnotize Minds record label.

La Chat's Music Journey
La Chat started her music career in 1995. She became more widely known in 2000. This was after she appeared on a popular song called "Chickenhead" by Project Pat. This song helped many people discover her music.
After releasing her first album, Murder She Spoke, in 2001, La Chat left Hypnotize Minds. She then released many more albums and mixtapes with different record labels.
Awards and Collaborations
In 2010, La Chat won the Female Rap Artist of the Year award. This was at the Knocdown-SCM Awards.
She also worked with another rapper named Gangsta Boo. They released a joint music collection called Witch on May 27, 2014.
