La Labor is a special kind of town called a municipality in Honduras. It is located in the department of Ocotepeque. A department is like a state or province in other countries.
La Labor is also part of a group of five municipalities called the Mancomunidad Guisayote. This group works together on different projects. You can find out more about them at their website.
People of La Labor
In 2013, a count of the people living in La Labor was done. This count is called a census. The census showed that about 9,515 people lived in the municipality at that time.
Most of the people in La Labor are Mestizo. This means they have a mix of European and Indigenous backgrounds. A small number of people are Indigenous, Black or Afro-Honduran, or White.
