La Molsosa is a small town, also known as a municipality, located in Catalonia, Spain. It is part of a special region called a comarca, which is the Solsonès. This town is found in the southern part of the Solsonès area.
It is connected to the town of Calaf by a local road. The municipality of La Molsosa is actually divided into two parts. Most of the people living here are in the larger eastern section. La Molsosa used to be part of a different comarca called Anoia. However, in 1990, during a review of these regions, it officially became part of the Solsonès.
