La Pobla de Claramunt is a small town in Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the Anoia region, near the Òdena Basin. This town is famous for its history and its beautiful castle.
The town sits at the entrance to the Capellades Gorge. This area was very important in the past. It controlled who could enter the Llobregat valley and reach Barcelona.
La Pobla de Claramunt is also known for making paper. It shares this industry with the nearby town of Capellades. You can reach the town by train or by road.
