Laci Risë Mosley (born July 4, 1991) is an American actress, comedian, and podcaster. She is known for her roles in TV shows like A Black Lady Sketch Show and the iCarly revival. Laci also hosts a popular podcast called Scam Goddess.
Laci performs improv comedy at UCB Los Angeles. She was a main cast member on the TV shows Florida Girls, A Black Lady Sketch Show, and Lopez vs Lopez. In 2025, she will be a main cast member on the Fox comedy Going Dutch. She will also host the TV show based on her podcast, Scam Goddess.

Laci Mosley's Acting Career
Early Roles and TV Shows
Laci Mosley's first main acting role was in 2019. She starred in the TV series Florida Girls. She also had supporting roles in shows like Single Parents and Insecure. Laci also appeared in the movie The Wedding Year.
In 2020, Laci provided commentary for Whoopi Goldberg's ABC true crime series The Con.
Joining A Black Lady Sketch Show and iCarly
In 2021, Laci joined the main cast of A Black Lady Sketch Show for its second season. That same year, she was cast as Harper in the iCarly revival series. Harper is a new character and Carly's best friend.
After her casting was announced, some fans were unfair to Laci. They thought she was replacing a character from the original show. Writer Franchesca Ramsey spoke up for Laci. She explained that Laci's character, Harper, was not replacing anyone. She also said it was wrong to judge Laci before the show even came out.
Comedy and Improv
Laci performs improv and sketch comedy at UCB in Los Angeles. She has a comedy show called #TrapProv with her partner, Priscilla Davies. Laci is also part of UCB's Project Rethink. This group works to make the organization more fair and welcoming for everyone.
In 2021, Laci was a guest on the NPR news quiz Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! She appeared on four episodes.
In March 2022, it was announced that Laci would not return for the third season of A Black Lady Sketch Show. This was because she had other projects scheduled. In April, she was cast in a recurring role on the NBC comedy series Lopez vs Lopez.
Scam Goddess Podcast
In September 2019, Laci Mosley started her podcast called Scam Goddess. It is produced by Earwolf. On the podcast, Laci talks about scams and cons from history and today. She invites other comedians as guests.
The name "Scam Goddess" came from a nickname given to her. The hosts of The Daily Zeitgeist podcast called her that. This was because she often researched scam and fraud cases online. Topics on the podcast have included the Fyre Festival and claims made by Hilaria Baldwin.
The podcast has been recommended by Vox and Vulture. Sean Malin from Vulture wrote that Laci is very quick with jokes. He said she can make even the funniest guests laugh. In October 2020, Conan O'Brien's company, Team Coco, joined Earwolf to help produce the podcast.
Laci Mosley has won several awards for Scam Goddess. She received two Webby Awards and two iHeartRadio Podcast Awards. Laci also wrote a book related to the podcast. It is called Scam Goddess: Lessons from a Life of Cons, Grifts, and Schemes. It is set to be released in September 2024.
In July 2024, it was announced that Scam Goddess would become a TV show. The television series, called Scam Goddess, started on January 16, 2025, on Freeform.

Laci Mosley was born in Terrell, Texas. She grew up in Dallas. She went to Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas. She was involved in many groups at her school.
Laci is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating, she lived in New York City for two years. Then, she moved to Los Angeles to become an actress.
