Laize-la-Ville was a small commune (which is like a town or village) located in northwestern France. It was part of the Calvados area, which is in the Normandy region. On January 1, 2017, Laize-la-Ville joined with another commune to form a new, larger commune called Laize-Clinchamps. So, it's not a separate commune anymore, but its history is still important!
