Lake Crabtree County Park is a super cool park in Wake County, North Carolina. It's a big, green forest area. You can find it between the towns of Cary and Morrisville, and near the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. The park is right next to the beautiful Lake Crabtree. It's also bordered by a major highway, I-40, and Aviation Parkway.

This amazing park is a perfect spot for outdoor fun. It has lots of different things to do for all ages. The main entrance is easy to find on Aviation Parkway. When you visit, you'll discover many cool features.
What Can You Do There?
At the park's main entrance, you'll find awesome facilities.
- Playgrounds: There are two playgrounds, one for younger kids and another for older ones.
- Boat Dock: You can launch your own boat or even rent a sailboat!
- Restrooms: Clean bathrooms are available for visitors.
- Observation Tower: Climb up to get a fantastic view of the lake and the park.
- Other Amenities: There are more helpful things like picnic areas and places to relax.
Exploring the Trails
The park has many trails for both hiking and biking. The most popular trail follows the edge of Lake Crabtree. It's a great path for a walk or a bike ride. This trail connects the park entrance to another trail system. It leads to the Black Creek Greenway-Old Reedy Creek Road intersection. This spot is also close to the entrance of William B. Umstead State Park.

- Community Sailing: During the summer, you can learn to sail! It's a featured activity for everyone.
- College Sailing: Since 2016, the NC State University Sailing Team calls Lake Crabtree home. They host big sailing races here. These include the SailPack Women's Intercollegiate Regatta and the Triangle Tango Regatta. Both are exciting co-ed races held in the fall.
- High School Sailing: The RTP High School sailing program is also based at Lake Crabtree. They host interscholastic races for high school students right here.

Lake Crabtree County Park is proud to host a special event.
- Valor Games Southeast: Since 2012, the park has been a host for the Valor Games Southeast. This is a three-day sports competition. It's designed for veterans and members of the Armed Forces. These brave individuals have disabilities, and the games help them stay active.
- Accessible Dock: The park has a special dock that is wheelchair accessible. This means people with disabilities can easily get to the water. It provides amazing access for everyone to enjoy the lake.
