Lake Dunlap is a small community in Guadalupe County, Texas, United States. About 1,900 people lived there in 2010. It is part of the larger San Antonio area.
The community gets its name from the former Lake Dunlap. This was a small lake (a reservoir) on the Guadalupe River. In 2019, the dam that held the lake failed, which caused the lake to drain. Good news! The dam was fixed in August 2023, and the lake was completely full again by the end of October that same year.
