Lake Georgia Pacific is a small lake in southern Arkansas. It was created by the Lake Georgia Pacific Dam. You can find it a few miles from Lake Jack Lee and about 10 miles from the town of Crossett, Arkansas.

The lake is named after the Georgia Pacific Corporation, a company that has a large factory (called a mill) in Crossett. It's a great place for outdoor fun! You can find 10 campsites where families and friends can go camping, have picnics, or enjoy fishing. The lake is about eight feet deep on average.

A Home for Wildlife

In 1964, Lake Georgia Pacific became a special place called a Migratory Waterfowl Refuge. This means it's a protected area for birds that travel long distances (migrate) during different seasons.

Groups from the National Audubon Society often visit the lake. They especially like to watch the amazing Bald Eagles that build their nests nearby. The Audubon Society has counted at least 164 different kinds of birds living around the lake. Two of these bird species are quite rare, making the lake an important home for them.
