The lake is found south of Lakeland, Florida. On its northeast side, you will find houses and a boat ramp. Sikes Boulevard runs along the north and west sides of the lake. Lake Hunter Drive borders the south and southeast parts. The Lake Hunter Terrace Historic District is also close by.
