Lake Wimauma is a freshwater lake located in Wimauma, Florida. It sits on the south side of the town. This lake is quite interesting because it looks like two separate, round lakes.
When the water level is high, these two parts connect. They join together through a short, narrow channel. The southern part of Lake Wimauma is much larger than its northern section.

Lake Wimauma does not have public boat ramps for launching boats. There are also no official swimming beaches along its shores.
However, there is a place along State Route 674 where you can stop your car. From this spot, people can get to the lake. It's a good place to visit if you want to see the water up close.
