Landisville is also known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that the government counts for population statistics, even though it's not officially a city or town with its own local government. Where is Landisville Located?

Landisville is about 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Lancaster. Lancaster is the main city in Lancaster County.

A major road, Pennsylvania Route 283, runs along the northern edge of Landisville. This four-lane highway helps people travel easily. You can get onto Route 283 from Pennsylvania Route 722 or from Spooky Nook Road. Route 283 leads southeast to Lancaster and northwest to Harrisburg, the state capital.

The community covers about 1.28 square miles (3.3 square kilometers) of land. Only a tiny part, about 0.004 square miles (0.01 square kilometers), is water. Water from Landisville flows into Swarr Run, which then goes into Little Conestoga Creek. This creek eventually joins the Susquehanna River.
