Lane is a small, quiet place in Kootenai County, Idaho, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated community," which means it's a settlement that isn't officially a city or town with its own local government. Lane is nestled right along the beautiful Coeur d'Alene River and is easy to find on Idaho State Highway 3. It's about 12 miles (19 kilometers) northeast of a town called Harrison.
