Where Was Lankershim Located?

Lankershim was situated in a part of California known for its natural beauty. It was about 3.5 miles (5.6 kilometers) northwest of another place called Trigo. The land there is fairly flat, with Lankershim sitting at an elevation of 289 feet (88 meters) above sea level.

The community was built along the tracks of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad. Railroads were very important in the past for connecting towns and moving goods across the country.
