Lawrence Hill (born September 4, 1971), known as Larry Larr, is an American rapper. He became known in the music world in the late 1980s. He was part of a group of rappers from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Other famous artists from that time included Schooly D, Steady B, and DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince.
Larry Larr signed with Ruffhouse Records. In 1991, he released his first album, called "Da Wizzard Of Odds". The album featured two main songs. The first song, "Larry, That’s What They Call Me", reached number 7 on the Hot Rap Songs chart. His second song, "Confused", reached number 10 on the same chart. The album itself reached number 67 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
