Robert Larry Mickey (born October 21, 1943 – died July 23, 1982) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played as a right winger in the National Hockey League (NHL) for several teams. These teams included the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, and Buffalo Sabres. His NHL career spanned from 1965 to 1975, and he also played again from 1978 to 1981.

Larry Mickey had an exciting hockey career, playing for many different teams. While playing with the Omaha Knights, he was recognized as one of the best players in the Central Hockey League during the 1966-67 season. His team, the Omaha Knights, even made it to the finals for the Adams Cup that same year.
Larry Mickey faced a very tough time in his life. In 1967, he was in a serious car accident where he got hurt, and sadly, his wife passed away. This was a very difficult moment for him.
Even with the challenges he faced, Larry Mickey was known for more than just his skills on the ice. He cared a lot about his community. He spent time helping young hockey players and children with special needs. He is remembered as one of the people who helped start the Buffalo Jr. Sabres team. This team began in Buffalo, New York in 1975. Larry Mickey coached the team from 1975 until the end of the 1977 season, helping to guide young players.
During his time in the NHL, Larry Mickey played in 292 games. He scored 39 goals and made 53 assists, adding up to 92 points in total.
