Laura Catherine Dreyfuss (born August 22, 1988) is an American actress and singer. She is well-known for her roles in popular shows and musicals. You might know her as Zoe Murphy in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. She also played Madison McCarthy on the TV show Glee. More recently, she was McAfee Westbrook in the Netflix series The Politician.

Laura Dreyfuss's Journey
Laura Dreyfuss studied musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory. She earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts. This helped her prepare for a career on stage.
Starting on Broadway
Laura began her professional acting career on Broadway. She was part of the musical Hair. Later, she joined the cast of Once. In Once, she first served as a backup actress. Then, she took over the main role of Girl.
Becoming Zoe Murphy
One of Laura's most famous roles is Zoe Murphy. She was the very first actress to play Zoe in the musical Dear Evan Hansen. She performed this role in several productions. These included shows at the Arena Stage and Second Stage Theatre. Finally, she brought Zoe to the big Broadway stage. Laura left Dear Evan Hansen in July 2018.
From Stage to Screen
Right after leaving Dear Evan Hansen, Laura joined a new TV show. She became a main character in the Netflix series The Politician. Her co-star from Dear Evan Hansen, Ben Platt, also joined the show. In July 2018, Laura also released her first song. It was called "Be Great" and she released it under the name Loladre.
