Laura Catherine Dreyfuss, born on August 22, 1988, is an American actress and singer. She is well-known for her roles in popular shows and musicals. She played Zoe Murphy in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. She also appeared as Madison McCarthy in the TV show Glee and McAfee Westbrook in the Netflix series The Politician.

Early Life and Training
Laura Dreyfuss studied musical theatre at the Boston Conservatory. She earned a special degree called a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). This training helped her prepare for a career on stage and screen.
Starting Her Career
Laura began her career on Broadway. She was part of the cast for the musical Hair. Later, she joined the musical Once. In Once, she started as a stand-by, meaning she was ready to perform if the main actor couldn't. She later took over the main role of "Girl" in the show.
Big Roles and Success
Laura Dreyfuss became very famous for playing Zoe Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen. She played this role in different productions before it came to Broadway. She was part of the original Broadway cast when the show opened in 2016. Her last performance in Dear Evan Hansen was on July 15, 2018.
Right after leaving Dear Evan Hansen, Laura joined the cast of The Politician. This is a Netflix series created by Ryan Murphy. She starred alongside her Dear Evan Hansen co-star, Ben Platt. In July 2018, Laura also released her first song, "Be Great," under the name Loladre.
