María Sonia Laura González Martínez (born June 28, 1985), known as Laura G, is a Mexican television host and journalist. She started her career at a young age and has worked on many popular TV shows.

Laura G's Early Career
Laura G began her journey in television when she was just 13 years old. Her first job was hosting a children's show called Entre Chavos on TV Azteca Monterrey. In her hometown of Monterrey, she also hosted other shows like TvTu and La Hora G on Multimedios. She studied Communication Sciences at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
Moving to National Television
In 2008, Laura G started working at Televisa. She was a reporter for the show Hoy. The next year, in 2009, she became well-known across Mexico. She hosted the morning news show Primero Noticias and the evening show Sabadazo.
In December 2009, she was invited to join the program Los 10 Primeros. She worked alongside the singer and comedian Omar Chaparro on this show.
New Challenges and Experiences
In 2011, Laura G had a difficult time at Primero Noticias and later left the show. That same year, during a tribute to Mario "Cantinflas" Moreno on the program Domingazo, she had an unexpected encounter with a heifer. Luckily, she was not seriously hurt.
In 2012, Laura G started a new radio program called Ke Krees on the KeBuena station. She also had a small role in an episode of La familia P. Luche. She even lent her voice to the character Leilani in the animated series Beach Buggy Show.
Later Television Work
In 2014, Laura G hosted the Zona RudaCanal 5. She also appeared as a guest on the show Estrella2 , performing a short comedy act.
program onIn 2016, she hosted the Sunday morning program Me enseñas... ¡y ganamos!. This show aired on Las Estrellas and featured three schools competing. It also included a puppet named Don Apolinar, who helped with the answers.
Joining TV Azteca Again
In 2018, Laura G returned to TV Azteca. She started working on the program El club de Eva on January 15. Later, she co-hosted the entertainment and cooking show Todo un show. Her co-hosts included Roger González, Cynthia Rodriguez, and Fernando del Solar.
In 2019, Laura G, Roger González, Cynthia Rodriguez, and Fernando del Solar joined the team of the popular TV Azteca morning show, Venga la alegría. Laura G was a part of this show until 2023. In 2023, she left the morning show and the channel due to new contract decisions.
