Later, in 1994, she completed another important step called a habilitation at the University of Lille. This allows her to lead research and teach as a full professor.
Laurence Broze started working as an assistant at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1985. In 1989, she moved to Charles de Gaulle University – Lille III.
