Lavelle-Locustdale was a special kind of community in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. It was known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it was an area that the government counted for population, but it wasn't officially a city or town with its own local government.
In 2000, about 649 people lived there. Later, for the 2010 census, this area was divided into two separate places: Lavelle and Locustdale.

Where Was Lavelle-Locustdale?
Lavelle-Locustdale was located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Its exact location was at 40°45′50″N 76°22′50″W / 40.76389°N 76.38056°W.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the entire area of this community was about 2.7 square kilometers (1.0 square mile). All of this area was land, meaning there were no large lakes or rivers within its boundaries.
Who Lived There?
In 2000, 649 people called Lavelle-Locustdale home. Most of the people living there were White (about 98.92%). A small number were Asian (0.77%) or from other backgrounds (0.31%).
