Lawa (which is written as لاوا in both Punjabi and Urdu) is a city in Pakistan. It's located in the Punjab region.
Lawa is also the main town, or "headquarters," of Lawa Tehsil. A tehsil is like a smaller administrative area within a district. Lawa Tehsil is part of the Talagang District.
Some of the villages close to Lawa include Danda Shah Bilawal, Chaki Sheikh Gee, and Changa.
Where is Lawa Located?
Lawa is found on the north side of the Tarappi River. It's about 51 kilometers (around 32 miles) southwest of Talagang, which is the main city of the district.
The city sits at an average height of 416 meters (about 1,365 feet) above sea level. This height is called its "elevation."
