Lea Sirk is a talented singer from Slovenia. She was born on September 1, 1989. Many people know her because she represented Slovenia in the famous Eurovision Song Contest in 2018.

Biography
Early Life and Music
Lea Sirk began her musical journey at a very young age. When she was just five years old, she started learning music in Koper, Slovenia. As she grew older, Lea took part in many music competitions. These were both in Slovenia and in other countries. She often did very well, finishing in the top spots.
While she was in secondary school, Lea also studied the concert flute. She continued her music studies at the Conservatory of Music in Geneva. She played in different orchestras and attended many music workshops across Europe. Lea finished her university studies early and with high honors. She also earned her master's degree in music performance a couple of years later.
Becoming a Singer
Even while she was studying, Lea Sirk started to make a name for herself as a singer. In 2005, she won an award for being a very promising young singer. This was at an international music competition in Cologne.
She began performing regularly at various music festivals. Lea also took part in EMA, which is Slovenia's national competition to choose their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. She competed in EMA in 2009 and 2010.
Lea also appeared on a TV show called Znan obraz ima svoj glas. This show is like Your Face Sounds Familiar. On the show, Lea impressed everyone by transforming into famous singers. She even perfectly copied Salvador Sobral, who won Eurovision in 2017.
Eurovision Journey
Lea Sirk had already been part of the Eurovision Song Contest before. In 2014, she was a backing vocalist for Tinkara Kovač in Copenhagen. Besides singing, Lea is also a studio musician. This means she helps record music for other artists. She also arranges music, which involves deciding how different instruments will play a song.
Lea has performed on many big stages. She has recorded music with many Slovenian musicians. In 2018, Lea won EMA 2018. This meant she would represent Slovenia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Her song was called "Hvala, ne!". She wrote this song with Tomy DeClerque.
In April 2023, Lea Sirk sang the English version of "Interstellar Journey". This song is the official theme for the game Honkai: Star Rail. Lea is also a mother to two girls. She has managed to build her solo singing career while also taking care of her family.
