The Leader of the Opposition (Greek: Αρχηγός της Αξιωματικής Αντιπολίτευσης) is a very important politician in Greece. This person leads the main group of politicians who are not part of the government. Think of it like the captain of the other team in a debate!
This leader is usually the head of the biggest political party that is not currently running the country. This often means they lead the second-largest party in the Hellenic Parliament, which is Greece's main law-making body. Their job is to question the government and offer different ideas.
