Post Office History
For many years, Lehman Springs had its own post office. This post office first opened its doors on September 8, 1899. It served the community by handling mail and connecting residents to the outside world. The post office operated for nearly 30 years before it closed on February 29, 1928. Today, people living in Lehman Springs get their mail through the post office in the nearby town of Ukiah.
