Seini Tonga, known by her wrestling name Lei'D Tapa, is a talented athlete born in Germany. She is famous for being a professional wrestler, a model, and a mixed martial artist. She also used to play American football! Many people know her from her time with the wrestling company Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, where she was known as Lei'D Tapa.

Early Life and Sports

Seini was born in Germany. She has a brother and three sisters. Her parents were born in Tonga, and her father worked for the United States Army.

When she was in middle school, Seini played volleyball and ran track. In high school, she lived in different places like northern Chile and Bangor, Maine in the United States. She continued to play basketball and volleyball. She was so good that she was named "all-state" twice in North Carolina for both sports. In her last year of high school, Seini and her volleyball team, which included two of her sisters, won the state championship! Seini was even named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her team.

After high school, Seini earned a scholarship to Kuwait University in Kuwait. There, she continued to excel in sports.

Professional Wrestling Career

Seini Tonga was trained by George South and Sione "The Barbarian" Vailahi, who is her uncle. She started her professional wrestling career on 24 June 2011, wrestling for Southern Heritage Championship Wrestling.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2013–2014)

On 28 February 2013, Seini appeared on the Impact Wrestling TV show for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). She took part in the "Gut Check Challenge" to try and get a contract with TNA. Even though she lost her match, the judges decided to give her a contract the next week. She was sent to TNA's training area, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), to improve her skills.

In March 2013, Tapa wrestled in some special TNA shows. She won a match against Ivelisse Vélez at "Knockout Knockdown." She also competed in the "TNA World Cup of Wrestling" for Team International, where she won her match.

On 3 October 2013, Lei'D Tapa officially debuted on Impact Wrestling. She acted as a "heel," which means she played the role of a bad guy. She attacked Velvet Sky and later challenged the TNA Women's Knockout Champion, ODB.

At a big event called Bound for Glory, Tapa teamed up with Gail Kim. She helped Gail Kim win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship in a three-way match. Tapa and Kim continued to work together, often attacking other wrestlers like ODB.

However, their alliance ended on 13 March 2014. Gail Kim accidentally lost a match, and she got angry at Tapa, slapping her. This led to a fight between them, and Tapa became a "face," meaning she was now playing the role of a good guy. The next week, Tapa wrestled Gail Kim but lost.

After this match, Tapa was released from her contract with TNA. Her last match for TNA was another loss to Gail Kim.

After TNA

After leaving TNA in 2014, Tapa continued to wrestle in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). She became very successful there, winning the OVW Women's Championship three times! She even defended her title against a male wrestler called The Bodyguy. She later had to give up the championship because OVW stopped having a women's division for a while.

In 2015, Tapa joined Global Force Wrestling (GFW). She wrestled several matches for them. GFW then started working with TNA, which meant Tapa returned to Impact Wrestling on 27 July 2015. She had a match against Awesome Kong. She also competed in a four-way match for the Knockouts championship. However, she was released from her GFW contract in September 2015.

In the years that followed, Tapa wrestled less often. She appeared in WWE's training brand, NXT, on 12 July 2017, where she lost a match. She also appeared in a tournament called the "Mae Young Classic." Later, on 3 November 2020, she appeared on AEW Dark for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where she lost to KiLynn King.
