Later that year, he signed a new contract with the Panthers until 2017. He was also named in the 2015 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year. He was chosen to play for Tonga in a World Cup qualifying match.

All-Star Games and International Play

In 2016, Leilani played for the Indigenous All Stars. They played against the World All Stars. He scored a try in that game. In July 2016, he extended his contract with the Panthers until the end of 2020.
