Lena Mihailovic was born in Belgrade, which is a city in Serbia, back in 1996. Her dad was also a professional water polo player. Because of his career, Lena lived in many different countries when she was growing up. These places included Montenegro, Italy, and Turkey.
Olympic Journey
Lena Mihailovic was a very important member of the Australian women's water polo team, often called the "Aussie Stingers." She played with the team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. These Olympic Games were actually held in 2021.
Playing for Australia
The Head Coach for the Aussie Stingers at the Tokyo Olympics was Lena's own father, Predrag Mihailović. The team played really well in their group, finishing in second place. This meant they moved on to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
