Leo Sheng (born in 1996) is a Chinese American actor and activist. He is well-known for playing Micah Lee on the TV show The L Word: Generation Q.

Early Life and School
Leo Sheng was born in Hunan, China. He was adopted and grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan. His parents were an American lesbian couple. When he was 12 years old, he shared that he is a trans person. This means he identifies as a gender different from the one he was thought to be at birth.
He studied sociology at the University of Michigan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2017. Leo planned to go to graduate school for social work. However, he decided to leave when he got his first acting role in the movie Adam.
Acting Career and Activism
Leo Sheng first became known when he was 17. He used YouTube and Instagram to share his journey of transitioning. In 2018, he played his first main role in Rhys Ernst's film Adam. He also appeared in the documentary Disclosure.
He is a main character on the Showtime series The L Word: Generation Q. He plays Micah Lee, who is also a trans man. When Leo was 11, he watched a clip of a transmasculine character named Max on the original L Word show. He shared that he was trans shortly after seeing this.
