Early Life and College
Leon Benbow was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He went to Booker T. Washington High School in his hometown. After high school, he continued his basketball journey at Jacksonville University. He played for the Jacksonville Dolphins college team from 1971 to 1974.
Professional Career
NBA and ABA Drafts
In 1974, Leon Benbow was chosen by two different professional basketball leagues.
- He was picked by the Chicago Bulls in the second round of the 1974 NBA draft. This was the 27th pick overall in the draft.
