Leonard Robinson is an American actor, comedian, writer, and performer. He is known for his roles in TV shows like Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'n Out and Insecure.

Early Life and Learning
Leonard Robinson was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He grew up in Danbury, Connecticut. In 1994, he graduated from Danbury High School. While there, he was a state champion in wrestling. Leonard was inspired to become an actor by watching Sesame Street when he was young.
College Education
Robinson went to Howard University. He earned a business degree in Management Information Systems. This degree is about how computers and information help businesses. While at Howard, he also took his first acting classes.
His Acting Career
After college, Leonard first worked as a technology consultant. Later, he moved to New York City to act in plays and perform stand-up comedy. In the mid-2000s, he moved to Los Angeles.
His first TV show was Wild ‘n Out on MTV. This was an improv comedy show. He was one of the first cast members and performed for four seasons. He worked with other comedians like Katt Williams.
Leonard also acted in many plays across the country. He performed in "The Exonerated" and at other theater festivals. He learned more about improv comedy at famous theaters like Upright Citizen’s Brigade. He also joined the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase as a writer. Today, Leonard is a main member of The Groundlings. This is a famous comedy group where he writes, directs, and performs. He also does stand-up comedy in the U.S. and the U.K.
In 2018, Robinson joined the TV show Insecure. He played the character Taurean. He continued this role until the show's last season. The show's creator, Prentice Penny, chose him for the part.
