Micah "Katt" Williams (born September 2, 1971) is a famous American comedian and actor. He is well-known for his funny stand-up comedy shows and his roles in movies and TV shows.
Some of his popular roles include Money Mike in the movie Friday After Next and Bobby Shaw in the TV show My Wife and Kids. He also lent his voice to characters like Slickback in The Boondocks and Seamus in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.

Early Life and Childhood
Micah Williams was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 2, 1971. He grew up in Dayton, Ohio.
Williams has shared that he learned to read very early, at just three years old. He also said he could speak several languages, including French and Creole. As a child, he lived in Haiti for about a year and a half, where he went on mission trips with his family.
When he was 13, Williams decided to live on his own. He moved to Florida and earned money by selling things on the street. He was homeless for a while and lived in a park.
Comedy and Acting Career
Becoming a Stand-Up Comedian
Katt Williams started his comedy journey in Cincinnati. He practiced his jokes and performances in comedy clubs across the country. By 1999, he was a well-known comedian, performing at famous places like The Improv and The Ice House. He also appeared on BET's ComicView.
In 2006, Williams released his first comedy special called Let a Playa Play. Later that year, he had his first special on HBO. In 2007, he wrote and starred in the comedy film Katt Williams: American Hustle. This movie was a big success and helped him become a very popular comedian. In 2008, he released another HBO comedy special. His comedy tour in 2008 was even named the best of the year by Billboard magazine.
After taking a break for four years, Williams returned to stand-up comedy in 2012 with his HBO special Kattpacalypse. In 2013, he went on his "Growth Spurt Tour." In 2014, he released another HBO special called Katt Williams: Priceless: Afterlife, which was directed by the famous filmmaker Spike Lee.
In 2015, Williams talked about his "Conspiracy Theory Tour." He explained that the tour would discuss "forbidden topics" and hidden information, encouraging people to think about things they thought they knew. He said it would be one of his best works because it covered many important subjects.
More recently, Williams has released stand-up specials on Netflix. These include Great America in 2018 and World War III in 2022. In January 2024, he was a guest on Shannon Sharpe's podcast, Club Shay Shay. His comments about the entertainment industry and other comedians became very popular online. On May 4, 2024, his special Katt Williams: Woke Foke was streamed live on Netflix.
Acting Roles
Katt Williams began his acting career in 2002 on the TV show NYPD Blue. He is most famous for playing Money Mike in the movie Friday After Next (2002). He also had supporting roles in movies like Norbit (2007) and First Sunday (2008).
He was a regular cast member on Wild 'n Out on MTV for its first three seasons. Williams also played himself as a stand-up comedian in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV. Music Projects

Personal Life
Katt Williams has ten children. Three of them are his biological children, and seven are adopted. Williams is a Christian and often wears a cross during his shows to show his faith. He briefly joined the Nation of Islam when he lived in Oakland, California.
