Leslie Randall (born October 19, 1924 – died August 2, 2020) was an English film and television actor. He was from South Shields, England. He worked in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia during his long career.

Leslie Randall's Acting Journey

Leslie Randall had a very long career in acting. One of his most important roles was with his wife, Joan Reynolds. They starred together in Joan and Leslie. This was ITV's first ever home-grown TV show about everyday life, called a situation comedy.

He also appeared in the 1963 film version of Billy Liar. In this movie, he played a character named Danny Boon. Later, he was known for playing Reggie Wilkie in the TV show Emmerdale. He was on the show from 1999 to 2000. Leslie Randall also made guest appearances in famous American TV shows. These included The Monkees and I Dream of Jeannie.

Early Life and War Service

During World War II, Leslie Randall served his country. He was part of the Royal Air Force. He worked as a pilot officer and a bomb aimer. He was a member of 358 Squadron. This squadron was active in the Far East during the war.

His Family Life

Leslie Randall's wife was Joan Reynolds. They first met when they were both acting in a special kind of theater. This was called repertory theatre. They worked together in Darlington from 1948 to 1951. Leslie and Joan got married in 1951. They had two children together, named Susan and David. They later divorced in 1978. Joan Reynolds passed away in May 2011.

On August 2, 2020, it was announced that Leslie Randall had died. He was 95 years old when he passed away.
